Inspiration: David Levi Strauss

Clinging to the old sense of propaganda as essentially untrue only paved the way for the new propaganda’s effectiveness. One rule in contemporary propaganda is that lies should not be used except about completely unverifiable facts. No good propagandist will prefer a lie to the truth, if the truth will get the job done. The equation of propaganda to lies assures that contemporary propaganda is not recognized by those who are being influenced by it.
